Nestled in 150 acres of farmland surrounded by the Manistee National Forest, Hoxeyville Music Festival is a testament to pure north country peace and celebration.

Airborne or Aquatic is the project of visionary guitarist Seth Bernard. His powerful songwriting is backed by Hoxeyville founder and luthier, Jake Robinson, Joe VanAcker's rock-solid bass foundation, the double-drumkit rhythm machine of Michael Shimmin and Dan Rickabus, and boucle, synths and guitar by Lansing recording engineer, Glenn Brown.

AoA shows are full of surprises- their unique, amorphous form and community awareness begets triumphant returns of past collaborators, guest appearances from many other Earthwork artists, and even spoken-word features from brilliant cultural minds.

In August of 2012, the band embarked on a journey to the Upper Peninsula to record the foundation for their third album in the historic Finn Hall in Rock, Michigan. SISU was released in 2014.

The entrance is 1/4 mile west of the intersection of M-37 and W 48 1/2 (Hoxeyville) Rd. We recommend that you do not use maps on Apple.
