The Whistle Stop Revue
The Whistle Stop Revue is an Americana band formed in 2012 in the Southeastern region of Michigan. The band is known for its unique and eclectic style, which fuses elements of bluegrass, blues, rock, country, jazz, and other forms of music in their live performances.
The band consists of Joe Haugh and Blake Short, formerly of Rivergrass, and also Rick Doviak, whose musical history is rooted in the Michigan and national roots scene. In the past, Doviak has shared the stage with such luminaries as Melvin Seals of Jerry Garcia Band fame, the legendary Col. Bruce Hampton of Aquarium Rescue Unit, and members of Moe.
